Thebanarum. Iuppiter quamquam ea femina nupta est tamen totam
noctem cubare vult. harum rerum, ut videmus, liberiores esse quam

numquam patiuntur. Alcumena autem virum valde amat. Mercurium
igitur Iuppiter secum attulit, quod is dolos plurimos atque astutias
optimas scit. Mercurius igitur se Sosiae, Amphitruonis servo, similem,
Iuppiter autem Amphitruoni se simillimum fecit. ita in aedis Amphitruonis
di intraverunt. Iuppiter Alcumenam clam totam noctem amavit et

You need to look at gender agreement. What does ‘is’ refer to? And ‘nupta’?

hmm im not exactly sure what is or nupta is referring 2. maybe its like this...

Take the perfect passive participle nupta with est, forming a passive form of the verb nubere, which goes with femina.

Thebanarum means Theban

You can translate cum patre a bit more idiomatically than with the father, if you remember that, Jupiter, who is mentioned in the next sentence, is Mercury's father.
