Which Spanish Textbook is Most Like Wheelock?

So I'm teaching myself Spanish, and I've found that textbooks don't teach modern languages the way they do classical ones. It infuriates me. It seems like the focus is much less on intimately learning the grammar of the language and much more on just learning, I don't know, stuff. How to ask what time it is and such. It's not for me.

So I need help. Basically I'm looking for the wheelock of spanish text books -- something very simple, straightforward, and grammar focused. I want chapter headings like, "First Conjugation Verbs," not chapter heading like, "Getting Around Town!" Any ideas?

I highly recommend "The Everything Learning Spanish Book." The "Everything" series tends to take a more structural, grammatically focused approach with languages.
