Hi! I've noticed that many compound adjectives (e.g. ἄτιμος, πολύχρυσος) tend to take two endings (ος , ον). I'm wondering whether this is a general rule: do all (or essentially all) compound adjectives do this (I mean of the ones that follow the 1/2 decl. pattern at all -- I know there are 3rd dcl. compounds as well.) Or, put another way: do any Greek compound adjectives take ος, α, ον endings?

The only exceptions that come to mind, and some of them can hardly be called that, are names like Τισιφόνη, as from the simplexes τί(ν)ω + φόνος 'she who avenges murder' or Καλλιρόη (< ρόος, but there is also φονή & ροή so it's somewhat moot).
