How to express something like "The more, the better" in Latin?

"The bigger they are, the harder they fall."
"The taller the tree, the stronger the wind."
"The fewer the better."

A typical way to do it is quo + comparative + eo + comparative.

Quo maiores sunt, eo gravius cadunt.
Quo altior arbor, eo vehementior ventus.
Quo pauciores, eo melius.

Eo
is sometimes omitted.
Quanto and tanto can be used in a similar way as quo and eo.

@Pacifica Quo plus, melius, is it ok? In portuguese we say: "Quanto mais, [tanto] melhor." Similar to Latin "Quanto magis, (tanto) melius/melior."
