Sirenia Lyrics: Latin in "The Path of Decay"

Hello!
There's a band which I really like, and they use choirs that sing in Latin, but they never post the lyrics\the translation from the choir part.

Can anybody please translate these 20 seconds from Latin to English, and post the Latin lyrics too?

This is the song:

The choir sings from 2:59 - 3:19

Thank you very very much!! :)))

This is not easy. I believe the group are deliberately keeping the Latin to themselves to build an aura of mystery, which is not a bad marketing device. After listening to it many times I've managed to extract a string of Latin words which appear to match the voices but they don't go together to make a grammatically correct meaningful whole. From looking at other things they've done I'm fairly sure they use genuine Latin so there are obviously transcription errors in my effort. Time to bring the rest of you in I think. This is what I've got so far. I'm assuming they are pronouncing "v" as a consonant [1] but they might be "f"s.

misere mei domi soter pro his et eum invenistique in veneris eum ab unicum.

Edit: [1] I meant "fricative" of course.

I'm pretty sure this begins with "miserere Domine," a common ecclesiastical phrase. The rest I can't make out, but it may be a quotation, if any of the rest can be deciphered with certainty.

I've been very curious about the lyrics for a very long time, and now I'm very happy that I have at-least a part of it! :D

Keeping checking back from time to time; we may crack a bit more of it. I think Adamas may be correct incidentally when he suggests it begins with miserere Domine. At first I couldn't hear the last syllable of domine (O lord) which is why I had written domi (at home). On careful listening though there is a syllable there. It could be -ne but it sounds more like -nu. Dominu would be an extremely rare form of the ablative case and wouldn't make much sense here. Even the miserere is not certain. I've also considered miserum me and miser ille, either of which could make sense depending on what follows.

If you google "path to decay latin" this discussion is currently the first hit so there's a good chance we may attract a few more interested people.

Well I am no sure if I listened wrong to it, but i actually heard in the second part of this latin lyrics, the word Infernis, wich would mean hell i think, but probably it might say something else if we translate all the part... If you use earphones you might heard better the lyrics

Hi everyone,

Sirenia is one of my favourite bands and I’ve always loved this song. I hear the following:

miserere regna veni
sorgeri talis et en eum
infernis ne que dreni
veneris in ala pudicu

I hope this helps!
