How would I render this?

"Sed ut rem demus, age, Responsionem hanc totam, & cui illa superstruitur sententiam nos hisce argumentis evertimus."

I'm honestly at a complete loss and any help would be appreciated.

I'm not familiar with the author or context but on the face of it I would give a translation along these lines:

"But to come to the point, here are the arguments with which we refute that entire response and the idea upon which it is based."
