Is there anyone out there who is able to read Greek diacritics on the internet using their phone or tablet? - If so, what kind of device are you using?; what kind of browser?; and did you install a certain font to do so?

Please note I am not talking about an app, but Greek diacritics displayed on a website.

In other words, does your phone display the following sentence correctly:
ὁ δῆμος ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς τοῖς θεοῖς θύσει ἵνα τὸν πόλεμον παύσωσιν.

You might also want to try to read the sentences on this site: Attic Greek.

I am using an Android 4.4 system on a phone and it is not able to display polytonic Greek. I have tried the standard web browser, Firefox, et cetera - nothing seems to work. Any help would be much appreciated.

My Lumia 920 displays your sentence correctly. Its OS is Windows Phone 8.1; I didn't have to install any extras. Perhaps the font comes with the Office app (pre-installed).

I've got a phone running Android 4.4.2, with no extras or Office app or the like, and your sentence is fine in Chrome and Dolphin.
