"Next door"

Well, after searching the Internet & these forums, I have not been able to find any Latin translation for the English adverbial phrase "next door". Can anyone help me out with this?

I would go for ‘neighbour’s house’:

Vicini domi; vicini domum.

This would be correct for a sentence such as "The party was held next door".
What about a sentence such as "We went next door." though? How would you translate "next door" there?

i think iuxta domum it's quite similar

but i'm not certain it can be used so widely as in english

As Aurifex pointed out, I was wrong when I said that. It can also be vicini domum, it depends on the context(s) in which you want to use it. If it is "we were/he is, etc next door", it's vicini domi, but if it is "we went next door" or so, it's vicini domum.

Actually, instead of "the neighbour's house", why not simply proximae domi/proximam domum? Literally "the nearest house".
