I was wondering why it is not ACI after puto.

Because puto is used parenthetically; the following statement doesn't depend on it. It's like "She's content with that, I think", as opposed to "I think she's content with that".

The next few lines are a bit puzzling as well:
manifēstaque crīmina plēnō
fert uterō, et māter, quod vix mihi contigit ūnō
dē Iove vult fierī: tanta est fīdūcia fōrmae.

What does uno refer to? To my womb alone?

I guess uno can be taken with Iove, but other versions on Google have uni, in agreement with mihi, which seems a better reading.

The o in puto is short.
Really? Iambic shortening? I thought you said one time that the -o in all first-person singular forms is long by definition. Now I'm confused.
