Another rule I often forget is that -ie has to be followed by a vowel, unless at the end of a line.Not all: it rythmes nonchalantes and veilleuses (rimes plurielles) with agonisante and lumineuse (rimes singulières). Which are considered as rimes pour l'œil nowadays, but were, I suspect, probably for the oreille too, in classical French.
