How do you unambiguously say "of her" or "of him" in Latin when eius can mean "of him", "of her" or "of it" (same issue with illius and huius)?
For example:
I saw Marcus and Livia. I have his book and her sword.
Marcum et Liviam vidi. Librum eius et gladium eius habeo doesn't specify to whom the book and sword belong.
In languages like Italian you can disambiguate by using di + a pronoun. La sua macchina can mean his or her car. But you can say la macchina di lui to be more specific. Is there something similar you can do in Latin?
