^Above is my translation for this. Is this correct? I'm a bit thrown off by the accusative, and the fact the only verb is infinitive...

Yes I've seen that too, but unfortunately the text which I'm reading (and have to read) has ambubaiam non meminisse

I would understand it as :

Using this reading, it's probably an exclamatory infinitive. This use of the infinitive is used in exclamations and has an accusative subject, like "mene incepto desistere victam?" from the Aeneid. It could either mean "what? The flute-girl does not remember?" or (implying a se fuisse), "what? (she) does not remember that (she was) a flute-girl?"
